Maybe your camera hasn't a good quality. if you edited the picture with paint and saved it with ".jpg", then maybe paint made the quality worse. was the quality good before saving?

I would say you should resize it, THAT big every not-HD-camera has a bad quality.
And when rezising then you should NOT use Paint, because the resizefunction of paint is really REALLY crepy.
Use GIMP or sth. like that, a pictureresolution of ~800 Pixel per site is a good choice I think.

That's right, Paint has the worst scaling/resize options I've ever seen.

By the way, it doesn't matter whether you save in .png, .jpg or whatever, Paint always scribbles any pixel errors into your picture ...
